Botanically Hand Dyed Silk Scarf, Size 17 x 17"
These naturally hand dyed 100 % silk scarves are each 17 x 17”, and can worn in multiple ways (as a handkerchief, neckerchief, hair tie accessory, etc.) The silks are naturally dyed using plant powder extracts from Botanical Colors, a natural dye production studio based in Seattle, Washington. Each silk has unique color variations and markings. This is the perfect accessory to complete a spring or summer outfit for a special occasion (or not); they can be worn up or down.
Yellow, orange and red silks created using Madder Root; blue silks using Organic Indigo; and purple silks were achieved from a personal experimentation of both. NEW Olive green silks created with Dyer’s Polypore (Phaeolus schweinitzii) mushrooms.
